Cashless Carnival System · QR Tokens
A carnival token system on the phone — QR tokens instead of carnival coupons, and the organiser reconciles the same day
A cashless carnival system replaces paper carnival coupons and plastic tokens with a wallet on the guest’s phone. The organiser sets each guest’s tokens and issues them in one click; guests scan the booth payment QR, enter the amount and pay; vendors see the credit instantly and every booth’s total reconciles automatically after the event. No app download, no cash, no change — cashless payment for event booths at carnivals, family days and roadshows across Singapore.
- Issue tokens in one click — Set tokens per guest in the backend; staff and family scan to receive them in their wallet
- Scan to pay, credited instantly — Guests scan the booth QR and enter tokens; the vendor sees it immediately
- Automatic reconciliation — Per-booth totals and records tally live; settle the moment the event ends
- No app, no cash — Mobile web or the official messaging account — seniors and children can use it
Overview: who it's for & what it solves
Pixanity’s Cashless Carnival System is a carnival token system for Singapore events: paper carnival coupons and plastic tokens are replaced by QR tokens in a wallet on the guest’s phone. The organiser sets and issues tokens in one click, guests scan to pay at any booth, vendors see credits instantly and every booth reconciles automatically afterwards — no printing, no change, no forgery or settlement disputes. Guests need no app download; the system integrates with the digital stamp rally and QR check-in as one flow. Deployed at a 15th-anniversary carnival for a major financial group. Islandwide, custom quote.
What is a cashless carnival system?
The most labour-intensive part of a carnival is not the programme, it is the carnival coupons: printing, handing out, giving change, collecting and counting. A cashless carnival system — also called a carnival token system, QR tokens or cashless payment for event booths — moves that whole cycle onto the phone: the organiser sets tokens per guest in the backend, guests scan to receive them in an e-wallet, and pay by scanning the booth’s payment QR.
For vendors, taking payment is reduced to “let the guest scan my QR”. Every credit shows on the vendor screen instantly — no coupons to collect or count. For the organiser, how many tokens each booth took and which hour was busiest are visible live, and settlement happens the moment the event ends.
It belongs to the same carnival platform as the digital stamp rally and QR check-in: check in and receive tokens, complete the stamp card to unlock a voucher, voucher lands in the wallet, spend at the booth — guests use one phone from entry to exit.
Vendors stop collecting coupons, organisers stop counting them
After a carnival, the admin team used to count thousands of coupons booth by booth before anyone could settle; vendors fumbled with change while guests queued for coupons. The cashless carnival system removes all three at once: tokens sit in the phone, paying is one scan, reconciliation is one table in the backend. Staff get back to the event, and guests get back to playing.

One scan, payment done
Four steps, one flow
Issue, top up, spend, reconcile — every step in one system, and it links to the stamp rally and check-in.
Organiser issues tokens in one click
Set tokens per guest in the backend (tiered by staff, family or VIP); guests scan the event QR or enter from the official messaging account and the tokens land automatically — no coupon queue.
E-wallet and top-ups
When tokens run out, guests top up at the service counter; staff enter the amount and it credits instantly. Balance and transaction history live in the guest’s wallet.
Scan to pay at the booth
Guests scan the vendor’s payment QR, enter the tokens and confirm; the vendor screen shows the credit immediately. Every booth has its own QR and account.
Live reconciliation in the backend
Per-booth totals, transaction counts and peak hours tally live; export the report after the event — vendor settlement and organiser audit use the same data.
Three roles, three screens
Guests use the phone wallet, vendors the payment screen, organisers the desktop backend — all screens below are real.
Receive tokens, browse booths, pay — all on one phone
No download, no sign-up. The wallet already holds the organiser’s tokens on entry; browse the booth map, scan to pay at a booth, and see balance and every transaction update live.
- Tokens on entry — no queue for coupons
- Scan the booth QR, enter tokens, pay
- Balance and transaction history at a glance

See the carnival system work in 90 seconds
From check-in and token issuing to browsing, stamps, scan-to-pay and backend reconciliation — one video, the full flow.
How do guests use it? Four steps
Everything happens on the guest’s own phone — no app download, no sign-up.
Scan in, receive tokens
Scan the event QR or enter from the official messaging account; the organiser’s tokens land in the wallet automatically.
Browse booths
See booths and which ones take tokens on the interactive map, then walk over.
Scan to pay
Scan the vendor’s payment QR, enter tokens, confirm — the vendor is credited instantly.
Top up or redeem
Top up at the service counter if tokens run low; vouchers unlocked by the stamp rally are used straight from the wallet.
Four token set-ups for different event goals
One payment module — change the token rule and it becomes a different format.
Fixed allowance
Every staff member and family member gets a fixed token allowance and can top up at their own cost — the most common family day set-up.
Tiered by role
Different allowances for staff, family and VIPs, issued automatically from the guest list at entry.
Stamps for tokens
Tokens or vouchers are released only when stations are completed or the stamp card is full, tying spending to the stamp rally.
Top-up only
No tokens issued in advance; guests top up and spend themselves — for public markets and mall activations.
Integrations that turn the carnival into one flow
The cashless carnival system runs in the same platform as the services below, so guests use one phone.
QR check-in and digital stamp rally
Check in to receive tokens; a full stamp card unlocks a voucher into the wallet. Check-in, stamps and payment share one guest list and one backend.
Official messaging account integration
Use the official account as the entry point to push token credits and event alerts, and keep nurturing the audience after the event.
15th-anniversary carnival: one QR for entry, stamps and payment
Actual deployment screens and on-site photos: staff entered from the official messaging account, then topped up, browsed booths and paid with QR tokens on the same phone.

Enter from the official account, tokens land automatically
Staff scanned the event QR to join the official account and were checked in; the carnival tokens the organiser had set were issued straight to each wallet — no queue for coupons, no exchanging for plastic tokens.

Scan at the booth, enter the amount, done
Guests scan the booth payment QR and enter the tokens to pay; the vendor sees the credit instantly. Balance and every transaction live in the personal wallet, so even children can buy on their own.

Payment and stamp rally on the same map
Which booths take tokens and which checkpoints give stamps are on one interactive map; vouchers unlocked by a full stamp card go straight into the wallet, so spending and play are one flow.

Only the fun is left — no change, no reconciliation
Food trucks, ring toss, stage shows: vendors took no cash and gave no change; the organiser watched per-booth tokens live and settled the moment the event ended.

HIGH FIVE Carnival: live footage
40 seconds on site: ring toss, stage shows and a food market, with guests collecting stamps and paying from one scan on their phone. Vendors took no cash, the organiser counted no coupons, and reconciliation was done the moment the event ended.
A real case: 15th-anniversary HIGH FIVE Carnival for a major financial group
Staff entered from the official messaging account and received their tokens; food trucks and market booths took QR tokens, the stamp rally unlocked vouchers, and the whole event ran without cash or paper coupons. The organiser watched per-booth tokens live and reconciled the moment the carnival ended.

Pixanity cashless carnival system vs paper carnival coupons vs regular mobile payment
There are three ways to handle money at a carnival in Singapore: print coupons or plastic tokens, let each booth take PayNow or a card terminal, or run one cashless carnival system. The difference is whether the organiser can issue tokens, whose account the booth income lands in, and how reconciliation works afterwards.
| Compare | Pixanity cashless carnival system | Paper carnival coupons / tokens | Regular mobile payment (PayNow, cards) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Organiser-issued tokens | Set tokens per guest, tiered by staff / family / VIP; scan at entry and they land automatically | Print in advance, queue to hand out | Not possible — guests can only spend their own money |
| Guest payment | Scan the booth QR, enter tokens, done — no app download | Hand over coupons, receive change | Each booth has its own QR or terminal; guests use their own banking app |
| Booth collection | A dedicated payment QR per booth; credits show on the vendor screen instantly | Collect and count coupons | Money goes straight to each vendor; the organiser cannot see it |
| Reconciliation | Per-booth totals and records tally automatically; export and settle | Count thousands of coupons by hand | Each vendor reconciles alone; no organiser summary |
| Forgery and loss | Tokens live in the system — cannot be forged, transferred or lost | Can be forged, lost or passed on | Not an issue |
| Stamp rally / check-in integration | Check in to receive tokens, full stamp card unlocks a voucher into the wallet — one system | None | None |
| Best for | Family days, staff days, school carnivals, brand carnivals, roadshows | Small class-run fairs | Public markets where each vendor settles separately |
If the organiser issues welfare tokens, needs to see every booth’s takings and wants one reconciliation sheet, choose the cashless carnival system; for a public market where vendors settle individually, regular mobile payment is enough — and the two can run side by side.

Frequently asked questions
Common questions about running a cashless carnival with QR tokens in Singapore.
Paper coupons have to be printed, handed out, changed, collected and counted, and they can be forged or lost. With QR tokens the balance sits in the guest’s phone wallet, the booth scans to deduct with instant credit, and the backend reconciles automatically — the organiser saves printing and staff, and vendors stop handling coupons and change.
No. Scan the event QR or enter from the official messaging account and the wallet opens; seniors and children can use it on their own.
Yes. The usual “class booth collects coupons” flow can be replaced entirely: students and parents scan to receive tokens, class booths scan to collect, and each class’s total is exported afterwards — no more counting coupons.
The organiser sets tokens per guest in the backend (tiered by staff, family or VIP); tokens are issued to the wallet automatically when guests scan in, and staff can also top up on site.
A phone or tablet logged into the vendor screen is enough; each booth gets its own payment QR, which can be printed as a table stand.
Guests use their own mobile data; for vendors and the backend we bring a 4G router and check dead spots during the site recce.
The backend tallies per-booth totals and transaction records live; export the report when the event ends — vendor settlement and organiser audit use the same file.
Yes. Payment runs standalone, or integrates with the digital stamp rally and QR check-in into one “check in, receive tokens, stamp to unlock vouchers, spend at booths” flow.
Yes. The wallet interface, booth map and event visuals can all be customised.
Regular mobile payment is guests spending their own money straight into each vendor’s account; the organiser cannot issue welfare tokens and never sees the total. A carnival token system lets the organiser issue tokens, guests spend them, and every booth’s collection lands in one backend with one reconciliation sheet. The two can run side by side — welfare tokens through the system, extra spending through PayNow.
It is a custom quote based on headcount and token rules, number of booths and vendor accounts, whether check-in and the stamp rally are integrated, and on-site support. Share your format and scale and we will quote within a working day.
A guest list or entry QR (to decide who receives how many tokens), a booth list (we create vendor accounts and payment QRs), the token rules and your event visuals. Vendors bring a phone or tablet each; guests use their own phones.
